Last Friday night was something truly special for Logan City Speed. It wasn’t just another training session—it was a celebration of who we are as a club, from our youngest juniors to our most experienced seniors.

With a little over 50% of our entire club in attendance, the energy in the rink was electric. Skaters of every level hit the floor, not only to work on skills but to have fun, connect, and share in the experience that makes our club so unique.
What made the night even more memorable was seeing our juniors skating alongside our senior athletes. For the younger skaters, this was an incredible opportunity to watch and learn from those they look up to—seeing their speed, their technique, and their focus firsthand. And for our seniors, it was a powerful reminder of the legacy they’re building, inspiring the next generation by simply doing what they love.

Moments like these show the true value of club culture. It’s more than just training—it’s mentorship, community, and pride.
After the training session, we rolled straight into the general session where the good times continued. Thanks to The Diner, there was plenty of delicious food to keep everyone fuelled. The rink was buzzing with games, music, and laughter—and yes, we might’ve taken out a few of those game wins too! 😎
And then came a highlight of the night: we were granted 5 minutes of general session time to put on a little demo. Every level of our club hit the floor to show off their skills. From speedy laps to tight drills and fun formations, we gave the crowd a taste of what Logan City Speed is all about. It was a proud moment for everyone watching—and an even prouder one for those skating.

Friday night was a perfect reminder of why we do what we do. It’s not just about racing or results. It’s about being part of something bigger—a club where everyone belongs, everyone grows, and everyone contributes to the success of the team.
