Logan City Skaters Selected for the Asian Roller Games Championships!
Exciting news for Logan City Speed Skating Club! Four of our dedicated athletes have been selected to represent Australia at the prestigious Asian Roller Sports Championships in Korea this July. Congratulations to Alyvia Samia, Emmanuel Calpakos, Raiden Dolder, and Rob Cook on this incredible achievement!
This journey to the international stage begins now, with months of intense training, dedication, and teamwork ahead. These athletes are pushing each other to new heights, striving for their absolute best as they prepare to take on the competition. With Australia making its debut in this championship, the stakes are high, and the competition is expected to be fierce.
A total of 12 skaters have been chosen to represent the country, and we couldn’t be prouder to have four from Logan City among them. Their commitment to the sport and relentless determination have earned them this opportunity, and we can’t wait to see them in action on the international stage.
For now, it’s all about preparation—grinding through training sessions, refining skills, and sharpening their competitive edge. We wish them all the best as they embark on this exciting challenge. Stay tuned for updates as they get ready to showcase their talent on one of the biggest stages in roller sports!
We are barracking for them all—all the best guys and girls! Go get them! 🇦🇺🛼💨
